Patricia M. Noga, PhD, MBA, RN, NEA-BC, FAAN, received her associate in liberal arts degree from Elmira College, her bachelor of science in nursing from Skidmore College, her master of business administration from Suffolk University, and her doctoral degree in health policy from the University of Massachusetts. She is American Nurses Credentialing Center board certified in nursing administration advanced and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing. Dr. Noga provides leadership expertise and effectiveness related to professional practice and health policy issues, quality and patient safety, public health issues, and the healthcare workforce. She is nationally recognized as an advocate for healthcare quality and safety, uniquely focusing on transparency and placing critically important information in the hands of consumers. Dr. Noga serves as an expert resource to nurse leaders on how to understand, influence, and implement policy. She has provided strategic direction, leadership, and support to healthcare organizations through her roles as vice president of clinical affairs for the Massachusetts Health and Hospital Association, chief retention officer at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and clinical director of inpatient services and nursing at Tufts Medical Center, among others.
