About the Author(s)

Dr. Jeanne Zobel-Lachiusa, EdD, OTR/L, is a full-time faculty member at Bay Path University's graduate program in occupational therapy, where she teaches the pediatric sequence of courses. Dr. Zobel-Lachiusa has over 25 years of experience in occupational therapy clinical practice in varied practice settings. Dr. Zobel-Lachiusa received advanced training in sensory integration theory and practice at the Ayres Clinic in Torrance, CA, and interdisciplinary training at the University Affiliated Program of Children's Hospital, Los Angeles. Dr. Zobel-Lachiusa's research interests include children with autism spectrum disorders and sensory integration.
