Mandatory Subjects:

  • 2 hours of Ethics
  • 4 hours of Basic Life Support (Can be taken online, as long as the course is comparable to, or more advanced than, The American Heart Association's Basic Life Support Health Care Provider course. To be comparable you must include a hand on skills demonstration with a certified instructor. This is referred to as a blended course. Course participants are issued a wallet certification card to be used as proof of completion.

Online Limitations

30 hours are allowed to be completed by home-study. The Life Support Course needs to include a hands-on skill demonstration with a certified instructor in order to be compliant.
